1Palvelu

Hanslari on Android-sovellus, joka kirjaa työaikasi automaattisesti, kun saavut tallentamallesi työmaalle ja lähdet sieltä. Sovelluksen julkaisija ja palveluntarjoaja on Kuljento (Suomi), jäljempänä ”me”.

2Kenelle sovellus on tarkoitettu

Sovellus on tarkoitettu 18 vuotta täyttäneille työntekijöille omien työaikojen kirjaamiseen.

10Vastuunrajoitus

Palvelu on maksuton beetaversio.

Terms

Terms of use

These terms apply to the use of the Hanslari app and its related services. By starting to use the app or creating an account, you accept these terms.

Last updated 3 October 2026 Version 1.0 Suomeksi

1The service

Hanslari is an Android app that records your working time automatically when you arrive at and leave a job site you have saved. The app is published and provided by Kuljento (Finland), “we”.

  • Hanslari is a free beta, distributed by invitation (a closed test on Google Play) and as an APK file through this website.
  • As a beta, the app may contain bugs. Features may change, and we may suspend or end the service or any part of it. We aim to announce an end of service in advance so that you have time to save your data to a backup file.
  • The service is provided “as is”, without any warranty of functionality, availability or freedom from errors, to the extent permitted by mandatory law.
  • You can use the app without an account. An optional account enables syncing to the server and the feedback chat.

2Who the app is for

The app is intended for workers aged 18 or over to record their own working time. It is for personal use – it is not meant for tracking other people’s working time or location.

3Nature of the records

Hanslari is a note-taking aid, not an official working-time record. The times recorded by the app are your own notes and an aid – they are not an official payroll or working-time record.

  • Automatic recording depends on the phone’s location services, battery saving settings, network connection and other factors outside our control. A record may start or end late, or not be made at all.
  • Check the records yourself and correct them when needed. The hours, meal breaks, overtime, travel compensation and amounts calculated by the app are also estimates.
  • Your employer’s working-time system, your employment contract and the applicable collective agreement (TES) always prevail over the app’s records.
  • We are not liable for wage disputes, lost earnings or other damage caused by gaps or errors in the records, to the extent permitted by Finnish consumer protection law.

4Location and battery

  • Automatic recording uses the phone’s location and the background location permission. Your location is compared on the phone with your saved sites (a 100-metre geofence and, on arrival, one GPS check within 60 metres). Routes are not recorded. Details are in the privacy notice.
  • The app uses the phone’s own geofencing so that GPS is not running in the background all day. Location services and notifications still use some battery and mobile data.
  • The phone’s battery saving or power management settings may block background activity. You are responsible for making sure your phone’s settings allow the app to work.
  • You can withdraw the location and notification permissions at any time in the phone’s settings. Automatic recording will then not work.

5Your account

  • An account is created with a username and password. Keep your password to yourself and use one you do not use for other services. You are responsible for actions taken with your account.
  • Your username must not be offensive or misleading, or impersonate another person or company. We recommend not using your full name, as the username is shown in the feedback chat.
  • Tell us without delay if you suspect unauthorised use of your account. You can sign out all devices by changing your password.
  • You can delete your account at any time in the app (Asetukset → Tunnus → Poista tili) or on the web.

6Feedback chat

The feedback chat is a place for signed-in users to share ideas, bug reports and questions. Messages are visible to all signed-in users together with your username.

Rules

  • No swearing, harassment, threats or belittling other users.
  • No personal data – do not post your own or other people’s names, phone numbers, addresses or other identifying information.
  • No advertising, spam or posting links for commercial purposes.
  • No illegal content or content that infringes the rights of others.

Moderation

  • Messages are checked by an automatic word filter before they are posted.
  • Users can report an inappropriate message and block another user’s messages. Three reports hide a message automatically, and hidden messages are deleted after 30 days.
  • We may remove messages that break the rules and close an account for repeated or serious violations.

7Your content

You keep the rights to the content you write, such as work phases and chat messages. You give us a limited, royalty-free right to store, process and display your chat messages to other signed-in users for as long as needed to provide the feedback chat. This right ends when the message or your account is deleted. We may use ideas from your feedback to improve the app without any obligation to compensate you.

8Prohibited use

You must not:

  • use the service unlawfully or in a way that infringes the rights of others, for example to track another person’s location without their permission;
  • try to access other users’ data, bypass access controls or login limits, or guess passwords;
  • overload, disrupt or attack the server or API, for example with automated requests;
  • reverse-engineer the service’s backend or use its API other than through the app, except to the extent permitted by mandatory law;
  • distribute malware or modified versions of the app under the Hanslari name.

9Account closure and termination

  • You can stop using the service at any time by deleting your account and the app.
  • We may close or restrict an account if you break these terms, in particular the feedback chat rules or the prohibited use section. Where possible, we will tell you about the closure and the reason for it.
  • If the service is discontinued, we aim to announce it in the app or on this website well in advance. Data stored on your phone and your backup files remain available to you.
  • Account deletion and how data is removed are explained on the deletion page and in the privacy notice.

10Limitation of liability

The service is a free beta. To the extent permitted by mandatory law, such as the Finnish Consumer Protection Act, we are not liable for indirect damage, such as lost earnings, wage claims or loss of data, or for damage caused by the phone, network connections or third-party services. We recommend saving a backup regularly. These limitations do not apply to damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, and they do not limit a consumer’s mandatory rights.

11Intellectual property

The app, its design, the name Hanslari and the logo belong to Kuljento. You receive a personal, free and non-exclusive right to use the app under these terms. Map data: © OpenStreetMap contributors (ODbL).

12Privacy

How personal data is processed is explained in the privacy notice. We do not show ads or use analytics, and we do not sell or share your data.

13Changes to these terms

We may change these terms, for example when the service, the law or our service providers change. Material changes will be announced in the app or on this page before they take effect. If you do not accept the changes, you can stop using the service and delete your account. The current version is always on this page.

14Governing law and disputes

  • These terms are governed by Finnish law.
  • We aim to resolve disagreements first by discussion – contact us by email (address at the bottom of this page).
  • As a consumer, you can take a dispute to the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board (kuluttajariitalautakunta, kuluttajariita.fi). Before that, you should contact the Consumer Advisory Services (kkv.fi).
  • A consumer may also bring an action in the district court of their place of residence.
  • If the Finnish and English versions differ, the Finnish version prevails.

15How Hanslari is made

Hanslari was designed by Kuljento. AI-assisted programming tools have been used in developing the app; Kuljento is responsible for the app, its testing and its privacy. The app itself does not use AI and does not send your data to AI services.
